COVID-19... A desinfectarse
Participé de una reunión de aromaterapistas y herbólogos y fue impresionante ver el enfoque de prevención que existe en otros países. Poco a poco les compartiré información útil para Uds., pero comienzo con lo más básico y urgente en estos momentos, desinfectar. Esta información fue validada con el CDC:
🌿Debes utilizar alcohol mínimo 60%
🌿Diariamente debes desinfectar perillas, interruptores de luz, guía de tu vehículo.
🌿Seca tus manos antes de desinfectarlas. No debes tener sucio o grasa en ellas, ya que el desinfectante será menos efectivo. No escatimes con tu desinfectante. Debes cubrir todas tus manos.
🌿No asumas que las toallas antibacteriales son efectivas. Estudios ya confirmaron que las Wet Ones son menos efectivas que un antibacterial regular que contiene etanol.
🌿No dependas de aceites esenciales solamente. Por más que quieras irte natural, vas a tener que usar alcohol. Ya sea el regular o de grano con un alcohol por volumen alto. Tito's vodka no es una opción y ya ellos mismos lo están comunicando a sus consumidores.
🌿Si vas a crear o comprar un #sanitizer natural, asegúrate de que tenga #thymol El thymol es uno de los componentes activos más importantes en este momento. Es antibacterial, antiséptico, antiviral, anti-inflamatorio. El aceite esencial de tomillo contiene 30% de thymol. El de orégano de 5 - 10%. Combinar ambos, con la mayor parte de tomillo es una opción acertada. Puedes añadir otros aceites para complementarlos en beneficios, pero con estos dos es suficiente. Los cítricos huelen riquísimo y pueden ser usados para limpieza de tu hogar, pero no todos tienen las mismas propiedades antibacteriales. Si vas a usar alguno en el desinfectante puede ser limón. El asunto con este aceite es que es fotosensible y si lo utilizas y te expones al sol, puede manchar o causar alguna reacción tópica.
Sinceramente, este no es momento para ponernos creativos y tantear, tanto marcas que crean productos para la venta como entusiastas en DIY's. Estamos lidiando con una enfermedad sin precedentes, en la cual se va aprendiendo en el camino y simplemente no hay cura. Solo se continúan estudiando y manejando los síntomas.
